Our journey began in a quiet village in Yogyakarta, where simplicity meets creativity
Animorfosa is the story of a husband and wife’s journey from a small village in Yogyakarta. They chose to leave the busy city life and move to a quieter small town lifestyle, transitioning from a large-scale industry to a small home-based creative industry. They dedicate their lives to simplicity while creating a positive impact on the community around them. Their signature products are handmade tie dye and batik pieces transformed into unique clothing. The basic concept behind every design is to create products that are beautiful, simple, comfortable, sustainable, and based on zero waste principles. We always try to maximize the use of every fabric and reduce textile waste as much as possible. Every product is designed and created together with local housewives, giving them the opportunity to develop new skills and earn income while still being able to fulfill their important roles at home. Animorfosa focuses on creating meaningful pieces that make every wearer feel unique, confident, and happy.
